YEAST STRAIN CANDIDA FAMATA IMB Y-5034 - PRODUCER OF RIBOFLAVIN (VITAMIN B2)

摘要

The invention relates to the yeast strainIMB Y-5034, that is the producer of riboflavin (vitamin B). The strain is obtained by means of combination of mutagenesis and selective media. Furthermore, the additional copy of gene SEF1 participating in biosynthesis of riboflavin is introduced into genome of the strain. As a result of the mentioned the strain is obtained – the producer of riboflavin with high consistency of feature “overproducing of RF” and high flavinogenic activity.
