The method for explosive separation of monoliths from rock mass consists in one-step charge blasting with delay, beginning from the detonating fuse placed into the circular groove in special design cartridges, followed by blasting black powder charges in the holes bored on oriented block of rock mass alongside the vertical cleft at a distance between them equal to the length of the line of weakness, but not more than two radii of crack formation. |
