The wall (1) has an installation device (2) for installing a guard rail on skins (10, 10'), where the device has a support (3) mounted against one of the skins. A support maintaining unit (4) maintains the support against one of the skins. A receiving unit receives the guard rail or fixing unit (6) to fix the receiving unit. An opening (12) traverses the former skin formed on both sides of the former skin. The support maintaining unit extends through the opening on the sides of the former skin, and surrounds a part of the former skin and a part of the support.
