An elevator control apparatus (110), which performs speed control using a model calculating section (30), predicts an inertia value of a control target to enable highly-responsive control. The elevator control apparatus (110) has an inertia error predicting section (80A). A first arithmetic section (81a) calculates a pre-convergent inertia error (intermediate value) based on the operation of integration of a speed deviation between a model speed ?A and an actual speed ?M in a period where an increasing acceleration state and a constant acceleration state of the car of an elevator are continuous, and outputs the intermediate value to a second arithmetic section (82a). The second arithmetic section (82a) predicts a post-convergent inertia error based on the intermediate value output from the first arithmetic section (81a). A parameter correcting section (90) corrects an inertia value (JA) preset in the model calculating section (30) based on the post-convergent inertia error predicted by the second arithmetic section (82a).
|
