The plastic component (10) has a bracket with a plug hole (12), where ring-shaped anchoring ribs are provided at the periphery of the bracket. Retaining pins are inserted in the plug hole, where a recess is provided for engaging the anchoring ribs. The wall of the plug hole is formed by the plastic component. A threaded nut-like recess is pressed in the hole wall (14). The plastic component is a polyamide component, and is designed as a valve cap. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a plastic component.
