PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart long-term storage stability to an anti-corrosive agent by preventing crystal precipitation and solidification of effective components of a phosphorus compound-based anti-corrosive agent. SOLUTION: A method for stabilizing an anti-corrosive agent containing sodium phosphonocarboxylate and phosphoric acid or a water-soluble organic phosphonic acid as effective components is characterized by preventing crystal precipitation of the effective components during storage of the anti-corrosive agent by adjusting the pH of the anti-corrosive agent to be ≤1.5 by adding a strong acid to the anti-corrosive agent.
