PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of achieving improvement in cooling performance while avoiding upsizing. SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: a first sirocco fan 41 disposed between a projection optical device and an air inlet and introducing outside air from the air inlet, and a second sirocco fan 42 disposed to be opposed to the first sirocco fan 41 across the projection optical device; an air introducing part 45 disposed on an opposite side to a projection direction of the projection optical device relative to the first sirocco fan 41 between the projection optical device and the air inlet; and a coupling duct 44 guiding the air introduced from the air inlet through the air introducing part 45 to the second sirocco fan 42.
