GAS DEACIDIZING METHOD USING ABSORBENT SOLUTION WITH DEMIXING CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption method by which separation of phases in an absorption column can be prevented and separation of phases at a later stage of a deacidizing process can be obtained.

SOLUTION: Gaseous effluent to be treated is brought into contact with an absorbent solution containing some amount of acidic compounds and a selected absorbent in the column C1. Then the absorbent solution containing the acidic compounds is heated in a heat exchanger E1 and a heat exchanger E3 so as to separate two fractions: a first absorbent solution fraction depleted in the acid compounds and a second absorbent solution fraction enriched in the acid compounds: in a separation drum BS1. The second fraction is regenerated in the column C2 so as to release a part of the acid compounds and the first absorbent solution fraction and the regenerated absorbent solution are recycled as the absorbent solution. Further an absorbent solution portion circulating in the column C1 is cooled in a heat exchanger E2 in order to prevent demixing of the absorbent solution in the column C1.
