PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the containment of the hydraulic pressure of a wheel cylinder possibly causes a dragging of a corresponding wheel. SOLUTION: In a brake control device 20, an on-off valve is arranged on a supply path supplying operating fluid from an upstream-side manual hydraulic-pressure source to a downstream-side wheel cylinder, is opened in a manual brake mode, and is maintained to be closed when the pressure difference of the upstream-side and downstream-side exceeds a predetermined pressure even when a valve open command is issued during the closing of the valve. A hydraulic pressure detection unit detects the hydraulic pressure of the operating fluid. A determining unit determines whether a predetermined decompression execution condition is satisfied or not. More specifically, the unit determines whether a first decompression execution condition including the condition that the output of the hydraulic pressure detection unit is a predetermined pressure or above is satisfied or not. When the predetermined decompression execution condition is satisfied in the manual brake mode, a control unit controls so as to reduce the hydraulic pressure of a plurality of wheel cylinders.
