<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that there is a method for utilizing a wedge engagement mechanism as a means for holding an output shaft without needing large power, but the method cannot prevent the deterioration of a fatigue life of an actuator due to an increase of stress at a contact part between components of an engagement part, and thus it is necessary to prevent the deterioration of the fatigue life. <P>SOLUTION: In this linear actuator which converts rotational movement generated by a rotating drive unit into a linear motion mechanism by a rotation/linear motion conversion mechanism, there is provided a constitution which can prevent the output shaft from being driven by an external force by using a small engagement force by assembling a one-way mechanism into a rotating drive passage at the upstream side of the rotation/linear motion conversion mechanism, thus reducing the stress at the contact part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
