A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ESTIMATING OFDM FREQUENCY OFFSET OF LOW COMPLEXITY USING A PERIODOGRAM

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for estimating OFDM frequency offset of low complexity using a period diagram are provided to expand a frequency offset estimation range by using a frequency offset estimating method through a periodogram. CONSTITUTION: An expanded periodogram is obtained from a received signal through a frequency offset estimating method. A frequency offset is estimated through the expanded periodogram. A estimated frequency offset is compensated.
