<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve further improvement in operation efficiency and further reduction in loss, unwanted sound and noise in an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to an inverter control device of air conditioner which has a PWM inverter including a rectifier 6, a direct-current reactor 7, a direct-current smoothing capacitor 8 and an inverter 9. The PWM inverter drives a compressor 1 of an air conditioner including a cooling medium circuit where the compressor 1, a condenser 2, a throttle device 3 and an evaporator 4 are connected through cooling medium piping.
