968,454. Transferred photographic images. TECHNICAL OPERATIONS Inc. Aug. 25, 1960 [Sept. 18, 1959], No. 13990/63. Divided out of 968, 453. Heading G2C. A developed surface silver image photographically formed in a binder-free stratum of photosensitive silver halide microcrystals is brought into contact with a receiving body having a tacky surface to which the silver particles adhere more readily than to the undeveloped silver halide microcrystals of the stratum and the receiving body and said stratum are then separated to remove the silver particle image from the undeveloped microcrystals. The sensitive material may be reused several times with or without resensitisation. Suitable photo-sensitive materials for use in the process and their preparation are described in Specification 968, 453.
|
