摘要 <p>When selecting an AWV to be used for communication, it is possible to suppress the adverse affects of a side robe of an antenna array.  A first communication device transmits/receives a training signal while scanning a beam pattern.  A second communication device receives/transmits a training signal with a fixed beam pattern.  The main radiation direction and arrival direction are determined in the first communication device according to the transmission/reception result of the first training signal.  A second transmission/reception of the training signal is performed between the first and the second communication device.  Here, the first communication device transmits and receives the training signal while scanning the beam pattern in the state which limits the signal radiation in the main radiation direction and the signal reception in the main arrival direction.  The secondary radiation direction and the arrival direction are determined in accordance with the second transmission/reception result of the training signal.  The AWV based on the main radiation direction/arrival direction and the AWV based on the secondary radiation direction/arrival direction are selectively used for communication between the first and the second communication device.</p>
