<p>The invention relates to a trim strip (1) for the edge of a window channel (3) for a side window (4) which may be lowered in the window channel (3) on a motor car with a rigid fixing profile (5) having a U-shaped housing (9), an at least partly rubber elastic seal (6), having a seal lip (8) cooperating with the side window (4) and a seal profile which may be inserted in the housing (9) and at least one groove (10) arranged in the u-shaped housing (9) with at least one back-cut (11), in which a rib (14) on the seal profile (7) engages. According to the invention, an improved trim strip can be provided permitting an easier introduction of the seal profile in the fixing profile and a secure retention of the seal profile in the fixing profile, wherein the groove is arranged in the transverse web of the U-shaped housing.</p> |
