<p>A bolt anchoring device (54) for mounting to a bolt to which tension is applied is disclosed. The bolt anchoring device comprises a first housing (56) adapted to be mounted to a bolt such that the bolt can slide in a first direction relative to the first housing as tension is applied to the bolt. Friction members (62) are adapted to be located between the first housing and the bolt, and to frictionally engage the bolt when the tension in the bolt is released, to resist movement of the bolt relative to the housing in a second direction, opposite to the first direction.</p> |
