<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor balance correction device and a rotor balance correction method capable of correcting unbalance of a rotor and increasing a maximum correction amount while suppressing error of correction to a low level. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rotor balance correction method for correcting balance of a rotor includes: a step of measuring an unbalance position and an unbalance amount; and a weight adding step of generating a pulse-shaped discharge between an electrode made of a metal powder molded product and a balance correction position of the rotor and adding a weight addition section made of molten deposited metal powder supplied from the electrode to the unbalance position specified in the measuring step to correct the balance of the unbalance position.
