<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy required for operating an air-conditioning system by effectively utilizing expansion force generated when LNG (liquefied natural gas) is evaporated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The air-conditioning system (3) includes: a refrigeration cycle (30) for circulating a coolant compressed in a compressor (31) through a condenser (33), an expansion valve (35) and an evaporator (36) in this order and performing heat exchange between the coolant and air-conditioning air in the evaporator (36); cooling auxiliary means (26, 27) provided on a fuel feeding passage (22) and assisting cooling performance of the air-conditioning system (3) by cooling the air-conditioning air or the coolant by evaporation latent heat when the LNG is evaporated; an expansion machine (24) provided on the fuel feeding passage (22) and taking out the expansion force when the LNG is evaporated/expanded as motive power; and a motive power transmission route (40) for transmitting the motive power taken out by the expansion machine (24) to the compressor (31).
