PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device that detects a load open state in a load driving system even if there is no power supply to a semiconductor integrated circuit. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device 10 includes a power semiconductor element 1 for switching-controlling a load device 4, and a semiconductor integrated circuit 2 for detecting an abnormality of the load device 4. The semiconductor device is built-in with a pull-down voltage-dividing circuit 20 for subjecting an output-terminal voltage of the power semiconductor element 1 to resistance voltage-division, a MOSFET 16 for detecting opening of the load device 4 by receiving power supply from pull-down resistors 14, 15 constituting the voltage-dividing circuit 20, and a MOSFET 17 turned on or off by an abnormal signal outputted from the semiconductor integrated circuit 2.
