PURPOSE: To improve mechanical reliability, and lower manufacturing cost by providing a replacement window frame assembly of such sizes as to be engaged in a rear window opening in a truck cab, fixing and installing two window panes, and slidably installing a third window pane in a frame. CONSTITUTION: A power window assembly 10 is provided with a frame 20 of such a form as to be engaged in a rear window opening of a truck cab. In the meanwhile, this frame 20 is provided with slidable window panes 32, 34, and it roughly has a form of a trapezoid provided with a left side edge part 20c, a right side edge part 20b, and a lower edge part 20d longer than an upper edge part 20a. The frame is also provided with left and right partitions 22, 24, and these partitions 22, 24 act as vertical supports to increase structural strength of the frame 20. The assembly 10 is also provided with a reversible rotation electric motor 40, and a power transmission cable 60 to transmit rotary motion of the motor 40 to the window pane 34. The window pane 34 will not be slide while the motor 40 is deenergized. |
