<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device having high detection accuracy of a rotation angle of a part to be detected by heightening linearity of an output characteristic of a magnetic sensor to a moving position of a magnetic moving body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rotation angle detection device 1 includes a first rotor 11 and a second rotor 12 comprising a soft magnetic material, a Hall IC 13 as a magnetic sensor and a sensor fixing stator 14 for holding and fixing it, and a magnet fixing stator 15 and a magnet 16 held and fixed to one spot thereof. The magnet fixing stator 15 includes a first yoke 17 and a second yoke 18 on both sides of the magnet 16. The first rotor 11 and the second rotor 12 are fixed together to the part to be detected and rotated integrally. A magnetic flux detected by the Hall IC 13 is changed according to a facing area between an outer wall surface 41 of the first rotor 11 and the first yoke 17 or the second yoke 18. Increase/decrease of a gap length is supplemented mutually by an air gap G12 and an air gap G22, and deviation of a magnetic flux density caused by position deviation is compensated, and output deviation of the Hall IC is reduced.
