<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band control unit capable of performing an appropriate band control of communication for every user using a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: A band control server 1 receives a request to access a content server 5 from a user terminal 2, and compares access frequency information with an upper-limit value of the access frequency information to determine whether to allow access corresponding to the request to access. Then, the band control server 1 calculates an allocatable band of a communication path between the user terminal 2 and content server 5 based upon a frequency of access at least to the content server 5 and band information on the communication path between the user terminal 2 and content server 5. Then, when the result of determination of whether to allow the access shows that the access is allowed, the band control server 1 performs processing for instructing a router installed on a communication path between the user terminal 2 and an access target destination to perform communication control by the calculated allocatable band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
