<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm whose surface color, design, and shape are easily changed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fire alarm 1 includes a housing 2, a sensor 3, an alarm 4, and a cover 10. The housing 2 formed in an approximate hollow discotic shape containing the sensor 3 and the alarm 4 inside itself. The sensor 3 detects fire causes such as smoke and heat. The alarm 4 outputs a warning sound if fire causes are detected by the sensor 3. The cover 10 is detachably attached to the housing 2 and covers at least a part of the outer surface of the housing 2. By selecting one cover 10 among a plurality of covers having different colors, designs, and shapes and attaching it to the housing 2, external color, design, and shape are easily changed.
