PURPOSE: A textured data reading device for a texture efficiently mapping locations in which textured data exist and a method thereof are provided to improve the access speed about cache memory. CONSTITUTION: An odd index cache memory(830) comprises the odd index blocks of having the odd-numbered index. An even index cache memory(840) includes even-numbered index blocks having the even-numbered index. A controller generates the read request about the requested textured data to the odd-numbered index cache memory or the even-numbered index cache memory.
