<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recording head capable of allowing heaters to be arranged in high density and suppressing an influence of an electrode to the life of the heater, and to obtain an inkjet recorder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A common electrode is disposed at a portion other than a projection of a heating element. In a substrate for an inkjet recording head, a resistor layer having a first electrode and a heating element connected to the first electrode provided therein and an electrode layer having a second electrode provided therein are formed, and the first electrode of the resistor layer and the second electrode of the electrode layer are connected with a through-hole.
