<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module for an automobile vehicle capable of selectively lighting an area by using a shielding mechanism of a luminous flux emitted from a lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight includes one optical module 16 having a low beam and at least one additional luminous flux. The optical module 16 combines a light source 17 and optical systems 18, 19 by being housed inside a housing of the headlight, and has a light shielding plate which moves between at least two positions. The movable light shielding plate is arranged along a shaft 13 rotatably mounted and rotatably driven by a motor. The shaft 13 is provided with at least one first cut-off member 24 formed as a double-edged light shielding plate capable of attaining an inclined cut for emitting a low beam, and a low wall 30 with approximately constant height by offsetting in an angular direction with respect to the first cut-off member 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
