PURPOSE: A natural antibacterial composition for reducing microorganism contamination is provided to ensure excellent antibacterial and disinfection activities and to separate dental calculus. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition for reducing microorganism contamination of a denture product used in oral cavity contains calcium oxide. The antibacterial composition is used in a container for containing a denture product. A denture cleansing liquid contains 0.001-1 wt% of calcium oxide. The calcium oxide is provided in the form of powder, tablet, or capsule. A method for killing bacteria for preventing bacteria proliferation is performed by dissolving the calcium oxide powder in water or dissolving in water with power, tablet or capsule formulation.
