AGENT HAVING ANTI-HELICOBACTER PYLORI ACTIVITY

Disclosed is an agent having an anti-Helicobacter pylori activity.  The agent is effective for the treatment, prevention or amelioration of diseases associated with Helicobacter pylori.  The agent comprises an extract from a plant belonging to the family Lamiaceae, particularly an extract from a plant Elsholtzia ciliata, Perilla frutescens viridis or Elsholtzia regulosa, as an active ingredient.  The agent has excellent heat stability, and can achieve the eradication effect within a short period.
