An image processing device is configured such that a print image formation unit forms the print image on the printer-equivalent image formation area with increasing the number of pixels of the print image in accordance with the resolutions of the display-equivalent image formation area and the printer-equivalent image formation area if a judging unit judges that the image formation command is the pixel number dependent command, and the print image formation unit forms the print image on the printer-equivalent image formation area without modifying the print image if the judging unit judges that the image formation command is not the pixel number dependent command.
