The invention relates to a method for producing a metal contact structure, particularly the contact structure of a solar cell, wherein a printing substance is applied to a surface of a substrate to be contacted electrically, equipped with a thin layer of low conductivity, particularly a passivation or anti-reflective layer of the solar cell in a locally controlled manner in a non-impact printing method, said printing substance comprising opening particles with a mean particle size that is adjusted to the thickness of the thin layer, and comprising contact particles, and forming a contact imparting layer on the surface. Subsequently, a conductive layer is created on the contact imparting layer in a further step, wherein the opening particles are adapted to open the thin layer of low conductivity in a subsequent process, particularly a thermal process, in a local manner and at a defined size such that the contact particles establish an electric contact between the conductive layer and the substrate through the openings in this or in a subsequent process, particularly in a thermal process. |
