<p>PURPOSE: A passenger transport railcar is provided to reduce energy consumption for car movement and maintain resisting power similar to the resisting power against the forward movement of a complete joint-type rake by selecting a partial non joint structure. CONSTITUTION: A passenger transport railcar comprises a first pilot car(2), one or more of intermediate cars(3, 3a), assembly(E) and a second pilot car. The intermediate cars are connected after the first pilot car. The assembly comprises one or more of partially motorized two-level cars(4). The intermediate cars and the second pilot car are successively connected after the assembly. Adjacent ends of the two-level cars of the assembly are connected in a joint type entirely or in a non-joint type entirely. The end of the intermediate car adjacent to the end car of the assembly and the end of the end car of the assembly are connected in a non-joint type.</p> |
