PURPOSE: A position setting device of an insert plate for mounting a pipe supporting stand is provided to reduce labor costs due to processing a task by one operator by setting a location of an insert plate in a straight line regardless of obstacles. CONSTITUTION: A position setting device of an insert plate for mounting a pipe supporting stand comprises a first length adjusting unit(10) which includes a horizontal bar(12) with a graduated ruler(11) on the horizontal bar and a second length adjusting unit(20) wherein a bracket(21) moves along the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar whose one end is inserted in the bracket. The first and the second length adjusting units comprise: a first and a second vertical bars(13,22); a first and a second variable height bars(15,24) which is fixed by a first fixing clip(14,23); and a first and a second plate(16,25) which are combined with the lower parts on the first and the second variable height bars, respectively.
