摘要 <p>The invention relates to a linear piezoelectric motor with active force in the normal state, capable of maintaining its position and force under load, in the absence of the power supply of piezoelectric discs stacks, and of advancing, by variable step sizes, of the micrometer order or less, on variable length strokes. The claimed linear piezoelectric motor with active force in the normal state comprises a housing (1) closed at its ends by an assembly of two caps (2 and 3), a shaft (4) being normally indexed by two elastic pincers (5 and 18) which also guide it. A first pincer (5) makes the shaft (4) integral with the housing (1), while a second pincer (18) which is a component of a mobile indexing subassembly contained within a cup (16) can pull it to either direction, depending on how the stack of piezoelectric discs (30) is supplied. An assembly of stacks of piezoelectric discs (14 and 28) has the role of successively opening the pincers (5 and 18) and releasing the shaft (4) when voltage supplied. The actuating force in the motor shaft (4) can be adjusted by means of the elastic forces of some disc springs (7, 21, 35) determined and controlled by the compressions produced by some nuts (10 and 24) and a cap (2), respectively, and the releases produced by the piezoelectric discs stacks (14, 28 and 30) when voltage supplied.</p>
