<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant roll efficiently improved in its characteristics, a method of manufacturing the same and a method of manufacturing a plate glass using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a heat resistant roll is a method of manufacturing a heat resistant roll which is equipped with a roll containing not less than 5 wt.% clay and includes a grinding process (S101) in which the surface of the roll is ground, and a surface treating process (S102) in which the surface of the ground roll is smoothed while it is kept wet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
