METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HYBRID-COMPOSITE WITH THERMOPLASTICS AND CONTINUOUS FIBER

<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a hybrid-composite of thermoplastics and continuous fiber is provided to facilitate weaving by bonding tape-shaped thermoplastics without directly impregnating thermoplastic resin in a bundle of continuous fibers. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hybrid-composite of thermoplastics and continuous fiber comprises following steps. A bundle of glass fibers are widely and uniformly spread. The spread glass fibers are heated. A bond body of thermoplastics and continuous fiber is formed by bonding tape-shaped thermoplastics and heated glass fibers. A multi-layered bond body of thermoplastics and continuous fiber is manufactured by folding the bond body in a zigzag manner. The multi-layered bond body of thermoplastics and continuous fiber is compressed.</p>
