<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator which reduces the effect of a cogging torque on a rotating shaft, the cogging torque being generated as a result of yoke attraction by a magnetic field supply means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power generator includes three or more power generating means connected together by the rotating shaft 12, each power generating means including a magnet 14 having an even number of magnetic poles in the direction of rotation of the rotating shaft 12 and a yoke having iron strips 26a and 26b corresponding and close to the even number of magnetic poles of the magnet 14 and being disposed coaxial with the rotating shaft 12. The magnet and the yoke of one power generating means and those of another power generating means are rotated relative to each other so that the mutual attractive force of the magnet and the yoke of one power generating means and the mutual attractive force of the magnet and the yoke of another power generator cancel out each other.
