<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for easily saving broadcast contents being viewed without forcing a user to perform a complicated operation. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment for receiving and outputting a broadcast starts automatic saving processing for continuously saving broadcast contents when starting receiving the broadcast or outputting the broadcast contents. When the elapsed time after the start of the automatic saving processing reaches a prescribed time, the automatic saving processing is ended. When cumulative storage capacity of the broadcast contents reaches prescribed set capacity, the automatic saving processing may be ended.
