PURPOSE: A floating decanter for a supernatant is provided to prevent a water environment pollution by selectively discharging the supernatant in a batch type reaction bath, and to easily maintain the decanter with a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A floating decanter(10) for a supernatant comprises the following: a body(100); a supernatant inlet(110) flowing in the supernatant from a batch type reaction bath(20); an opening/closing controller(200) controlling the discharge of the supernatant; a buoyancy member(300) moving along to the water level of the batch type reaction bath; an upper discharging pipe(400) installed on the lower center of the body; a wedge supporting unit connected to the outer circumference of the body; and a fixing bolt fixing the wedge supporting unit.
