The invention relates to a method and a device for filling containers which are produced by a blow molding station (3) and which have a substantially bottle-like design. The containers are impinged by a medium in the area of an input path (5) of a filling station (1). During impingement of the containers with the medium in the area of the input path (5) the containers are positioned head down with their open mouths in a substantially perpendicular direction.
