<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The rotary arm (12) has a conveyor (2) carrying concrete to its free end, where it is discharged, e.g. onto a lorry (17). The rotary arm is mounted in bearings on a holder (22). This is arranged on a stationary support column (18), such that the rotary axis is eccentric to the column. Seen from above, the rotary arm is close to the support column in at least one position of rotation. The rotary arm is arranged in a rotary passage. This is carried by the bearings of a first slewing ring. One end of a conveyor bridge is carried on a second slewing ring; this carries bulk material (concrete) to the rotary arm. An independent claim IS INCLUDED FOR a method of re-assembly of the conveying system. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# A conveying system for loading a bulk supply of concrete onto lorries. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# This equipment is suitable for large civil engineering projects, e.g. dam construction. The new design facilitates dismantling and re-assembly of the conveying system when it must be moved. Because of the eccentric design, the rotary arm can be lowered and raised close to the side of the column, using a hoist.
