Cutlery in the conventional design is available in stores only in one design in each case. The design, for example, is classic unostentatious or decorated with animal motifs, for example. If two different designs are desired, two different sets of cutlery must be purchased. In addition, no cutlery is available which is specially matched to special occasions (Christmas, Easter, and the like). While the prior art offers cutlery having exchangeable design elements, these solutions are not suited for the concept of "celebrating occasions with the cutlery", because they are not user-friendly, dishwasher-safe or economical. The invention solves said problems as follows: figure 1 shows the basic cutlery 1 having the apparatus for receiving the exchangeable design elements. The apparatus has a U-shaped recess (2), which is open on one side and toward the handle end, a "dovetail-like" rail design (5) (see also figure 3), and a spring (3). The spring is designed, for example, in the form of a thin, flexible plate, wherein the lower end is connected to the base of the recess and the upper end is directed obliquely upward (see also figure 2). Figure 5 shows the exchangeable design element (6) from the front, having the design surface (7) and a "dovetail-like" rail (8), which in the shape thereof corresponds to the rail design of the basic cutlery (see also figure 6). The exchangeable design element (6) is pushed from the bottom (handle end) into the recess (2) of the basic cutlery (1) and guided by the rail design (5). When inserting the exchangeable design element (6), the spring (3) of the basic cutlery (1) is automatically pushed down and fixes the exchangeable design element in place so as to prevent it from sliding out toward the bottom at the handle end. |
