The invention mainly deals with an applicator which enables convenient and hygienic dispensing and uniform spreading of topical preparations like creams, ointments, and gels from collapsible containers on the desired surfaces including the skin surfaces. The applicator mainly comprises of three parts : i)a hollow neck portion with threaded structure for attaching to the tube and with a slit on the distal end,ii) a funnel shaped body having a slit canal within communicating with the slit opening of the neck portion, and iii) a hollow rectangular box like structure attached to the broad end of the funnel shaped body and having a spreading lip at the end for evenly spreading of the substances. |
