The unit (1) has a sleeve (6) in which a recessed spotlight is fixed, where the sleeve comprises an outer screw thread (14) cooperating with a screw thread (13) of a nut (5). The nut has a body (8) equipped with lateral projections for applying the nut via a side (17) of a wall (4) through an opening (3) formed in the wall. The nut is supported against or fixed on another side (27) of the wall through the projections. A reflector support (7) is fixed in the sleeve.
