<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged omelet-like food industrially producible, and equivalent to that prepared by a skilled cook: and to provide a method for producing the packaged omelet-like food. <P>SOLUTION: The packaged omelet-like food comprises an omelet tray container charged with omelet-like food comprising omelet ingredients and an egg sheet to wrap the ingredients, and a hermetically sealing member hermetically packaging the omelet tray container. The omelet ingredients have liquidity, and the egg sheet has a thickness of 1-4 mm and rupture stress of 50-250 g. The omelet-like food is packaged under reduced pressure so that at least one part of a part not coming in contact with the omelet tray container is pressurized by the sealing member, and the layered parts of the egg sheet caused due to packaging the omelet ingredients are bound together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
