PURPOSE: A method for partially update relative value with an adjacency map and a system therefor are provided to reduce overhead in a process reprocessing updated data in a terminal by changing a treatment process. CONSTITUTION: A method for partially update reference data with an adjacency map includes the following steps: determining a relative value of a side after designating the number of nodes and sides on each side of the adjacency map; partially updating the map based on the relative value(S310); connecting a server in a navigation; comparing a version of the adjacency map stored in the navigation and an adjacency map stored version in the server(S300); and receiving the corresponding adjacency map information.
