PHOTON DETECTOR IN THE MICROWAVE RANGE AND DETECTION METHOD

Design of a device for detecting and counting photons based on a one-dimensional waveguide (1) connected to a number of bistable absorbent elements (2) that perform the detection, said device being used to detect and classify microwave radiation (3). Said detection is performed using qubits, the states of which are irreversibly changed by the passage of the absorbed photons originating in the induced radiation.
