A hot water supply device (1) includes a hot water storage tank (11) and a refrigerant circuit (20) of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle including a radiator (21), an evaporator (22), and an auxiliary evaporator (23). High-temperature water is retained in the hot water storage tank (11) in such a manner that storage water taken out from the lower part of the hot water storage tank (11) is heated in the radiator (21) to be high-temperature water and is then returned to the upper part of the hot water storage tank (11). A cooling circuit (15) is connected to the lower part of the hot water storage tank (11) so that the storage water in the lower part of the hot water storage tank (11) is cooled in the auxiliary evaporator (23) of the refrigerant circuit (20) and is then returned to the lower part of the hot water storage tank (11). |
