<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an interpolation process of an image signal of a focus detection pixel position followed by a reduction of an imaging pixel. <P>SOLUTION: Imaging pixels 310 of a plurality of types are arranged in accordance with a predetermined arrangement rule, a focus detection pixel 311 is formed as a size corresponding to substantially a plurality of the imaging pixels 310, also the imaging pixels 310 of the plurality of types are arranged so as to surround a periphery of the focus detection pixel 311, it is determined whether or not a point image exists at a position of the focus detection pixel 311 based on an output signal of the focus detection pixel 311 and an output signal of the imaging pixels 310 surrounding the focus detection pixel 311, and when assuming that the imaging pixels 310 of the plurality of types are disposed at the position of the focus detection pixel 311 in accordance with the predetermined arrangement rule, the output signal generated by the imaging pixels 310 of the plurality of types is interpolated based on the output signal of the imaging pixels 310 of the plurality of types surrounding the focus detection pixel 311 in response to a point image determination result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
