<p>Provided is an elevator monitoring system which makes it possible to prevent the display on a monitoring screen of the position of an elevator car from becoming discontinuous in the event of an incident. For this purpose, the system comprises: a car position search device for detecting the floor where the elevator car is positioned; a display device for providing a display in which a symbol indicating the floor where the car is positioned and a symbol indicating the car are made to correspond; a speed calculation device for calculating the speed of the car on the basis of the distance corresponding to a change in the floor where the car is positioned and the time required for the change; a display unit determination device for increasing the display units of the symbol indicating the floor where the car is positioned when the speed of the car has increased; and a display control device for displaying on the display device the symbol indicating the floor where the car is positioned in display units determined by the display unit determination device.</p> |
