摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly discharge dew condensation water and defrosting water from fins while keeping high heat exchanging performance in a parallel flow type heat exchanger used in an air conditioner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 1 includes two header pipes 2, 3 disposed in parallel with each other at an interval, and a plurality of flat tubes 4 disposed between the header pipes 2, 3 at prescribed pitches to communicate a plurality of refrigerant passages 5 disposed inside with the inside of the header pipes. The flat tubes 4 are disposed while their longitudinal direction is transversely situated, and the plurality of fins 6 are skewered with the flat tubes. Downward peak sections 9 are formed on one or more places of lower edges of the fins 6. The plurality of flat tubes 4 are arranged in parallel with each other on a vertical face, oblique sides 10 lowered from a windward side toward a leeward side of the airflow flowing through the fins 6 are formed on the lower edges of the fins 6, and the lowermost sections of the oblique sides 10 are peak sections 9.
